A photo quote is the fastest route to a price, and you don't need to clear an evening for a visit. Attach your photos to the quote form or email them to info@kitchenercabinetpainting.ca with these details:

  • How many doors, drawer fronts and tall panels you have, with the island counted separately
  • One straight-on photo of each wall of cabinets and a close-up of one door and its edge
  • The material if you know it: oak, maple, melamine, thermofoil, MDF or already painted
  • How greasy they are, and whether you've used furniture polish or wax over the years
  • Any past DIY paint, and whether it's peeling
  • Old hardware holes to fill, or new pulls and soft-close hinges you'd like
  • Colour ideas, even rough ones, and your town

What Happens After You Send Your Request

From first message to booked dates usually takes a few days, and nothing is owed until you decide to book.

  1. We Review Your Photos

    We check the door style, material and condition in your photos and confirm the piece count. If a photo is unclear, we'll ask for another angle.

  2. A Quick Call or Email

    We ask about anything the photos can't show, like grease buildup or a peeling DIY coat. If something needs eyes on it, such as lifting thermofoil or a swollen sink base, we suggest a visit.

  3. Your Written Quote

    Within 1 business day of the photos you get a fixed, itemized quote with HST on its own line. Extras like a second colour or soft-close hinges are listed separately so you can choose.

  4. Book Your Dates

    A 25% deposit holds your dates, usually 2 to 3 weeks out. Before day 1 we settle the colour and spray a sample door in your chosen colour and sheen.

In-home estimate

Book an In-Home Estimate, Evenings and Sundays Included

Some kitchens are easier to price in person, and some people would simply rather meet who'll be in their house. In-home estimates are free and can be booked Monday to Saturday until 9:30 pm and Sundays from 9:00 am.

When a Visit Helps

Thermofoil that might be lifting, water damage under the sink, old paint in a pre-1960 house or a large custom built-in are all easier to judge in person.

What We Check

We count every piece, look at how the existing finish is holding up and check sink and dishwasher bases for swelling. You get the same written, fixed quote as a photo request.

Video Call Instead

If a visit is hard to fit in, a video call lets us walk the kitchen with you on your phone in a few minutes.

Condo Estimates

Tell us the building so we can check its trade hours and elevator rules; most allow work from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm on weekdays. Our condo cabinet painting service handles the property manager paperwork.

20 to 25 minutes via Highway 8 and the 401.
