Pantry Wear Paint Can Fix
Paint fixes the surface problems pantries develop: worn finish at the handle edge, dried food splatter, scuffs from step stools and a colour that no longer matches the kitchen. It does not fix a badly twisted door or a box swollen by a fridge water-line leak.
These are the signs we see most on pantry doors:
- Finish worn through on the handle edge and the stile beside it
- Dark, greasy halos around the pulls from cooking hands
- Oil, sauce and syrup dried on lower shelves and door backs
- Dents low on the door from step stools, recycling bins and vacuums
- An oak or melamine pantry standing beside newly painted or replaced cabinets
Handle-edge grime is why pantry doors get a longer degrease than most. Hand oil soaks into worn wood, so we clean twice with Krud Kutter Original, rinse, and sand that edge back to 120 to 150 grit where the old finish has failed rather than just scuffing it.
